God

I wrote this in the comment section of another blog today, where people were blah blahhing about God. The author of the blog claims to be an atheist (secular humanist?) but these were not his comments. I liked what I wrote, so I thought I'd post it here:

God isn't some man sitting in a chair in heaven waiting to mete out
judgement. God is love. Plain and simple. If you've experienced love, and I
don't mean romantic crappy hollywood love, but real true expression of love,
then you have experienced God and recognize what I am talking about. If you are
too closed, hardened, cynical, "intelligent" or damaged to be open to this
experience, it still exists, whether you "think" so or not. Human beings have a
choice to act as the expressions of love (God) they were meant to be, or they
can act as destroyers of that love.
